For accuracy, DeWalt's detector finds the centre plane from any red or invisible (infrared) beam rotary laser at distances in excess of 300mtr's(1000ft). The detector has two accuracy modes: one finds the centre within 3mm (1/8") and the other within 1mm(1/25"), volume on the detector can be set to mute, low or loud at 110dB. A digital display appears on both the front and back of the detector for user convenience, the DE0772 is supplied with a clamp that can be used with the superb DE0734 grade rod. These in turn can be used with both the manual levelling and self-levelling DeWalt cordless laser levels
